I was contacted by Costume Super Center to do a review on one of their costumes so giving that I love horror movies & the 'Friday the 13th' movie franchise is my favorite I chose non other than the Jason Voorhees costume! It is a men's costume, but you for sure can be a chick and be scary.. I mean why not? My family & I like getting together & watching scary movies & this time around we decided to pull out the old favorite & this costume just fit the bill. 

I had my cousin wear it because he had the shaved head and I thought id look awkward with blonde long hair considering Jason was bald so he was more than willing to do poses for me!

Now for the review: I think for the price of the costume which was $25.99 it's amazing considering my local K-mart & Walmart's costumes like this runs a small fortune! It comes with the Jason Mask, Long Sleeve Shirt, and the Plastic Machete Knife. The mask is well made & it's has that blistered look that makes the costume even more realistic towards the movie & for a great scare! It is an official licensed Jason costume & right now it's actually the price above I posted is it's clearance price! What a steal! 

The shirt is made of polyester so it's very stretchy it does run a little bit on the short side if you are long waisted so you might have to put a shirt underneath or a coat over-top, but as you can see it fit my cousin and myself perfectly. It was a little short in the front, but nothing a under-shirt couldn't hide.

I put a little dark eyeliner in the circles of my cousin's eyes to give it a more dramatic movie effect! You can put your own spin on it and make the outfit however you wish. Pair it with some scary gloves, a dirty coat, and your ready to give your friends and family nightmares!

I highly suggest you check out CostumeSuperCenter's website - they really carry so many costumes for any occasion you are looking for. If it's for yourself, teens, children, infants, and even pets! If that doesn't have your attention they also sell props at awesome prices - I know my family & I used to have a big Halloween get together and all give-a-way candy together & we spent so much money on props it was unreal! I was surprised that CostumeSuperCenter had props that were pretty much exactly the same as what we bought years ago, but now extremely cheap!

 They are available in sizes small -6XL. Which I got mine larger because they run smaller. You might have seen corsets in older movies and in westerns they were called ' Waist Cinchers,Corset Tops, and just the simple term as stated above now Corsets.' 

 Here is pictures of me wearing the corset and I'm relatively bigger than the model above so as you can see it can look just as good on curvy girls as well!

To me the Corset has the look of leather, but the feel of satin. The snaps clasps in the front were easy to hook and they don't come undone. Corsets go beautifully with a stylish top or a regular shirt like what I paired mine with it makes it look more reminiscent of the renaissance which is very romantic. 

Corsets are very slimming and can help accentuate your natural curves or if you aren't curvy you can find Corsets that can give you that curvy hour-glass look. CorsetChick has all types of Corsets for all special occasions you'd be looking for. Like just for style, costumes, or whatever you like. 

What drew me into CorsetChick is that they do offer plus sizes which if you are plus size like me then you know how hard it is to find bigger clothing or an item like this in your size, but they carry all the way up to a 6XL so kudos to this company recognizing that big gals want gorgeous items such as this to!

The Key Lime White Chocolate Chip Cookies by Brent & Sam's were amazing. The bag of those went so fast! The Salted Peanuts in the Box by Feridie's tasted freshly roasted. The Coconut Bar by Oskri Organics is Gluten Free & Vegan. It was so delightful. Really, I can't say enough about how great these treats tasted. I thought sarcastically oh YES another product claiming to make your clothes smell fresh! 

I recently got a P&G sampler kit and it just so happened to have a generous sample of Downy Unstopables and I thought why not? So I used it last night and oh my goodness it smells so good! These little beads are strong for being so tiny! Not only that, but after I pulled my clothes out of the washer to put them in the dryer I noticed that even after the rinse cycle you could still smell the scent of Downy strong. It says to put a little in the cap then add to the water as it's filling up, but I kind of did it a little different I put a little in the water - added my clothes and then sprinkled some on top of the clothes as well. This acts as a fabric softener as well so that's another plus. I am hitting up my local Walmart to pick up some more of this stuff because it lasted on my clothes even after washing/drying so that tells me that I'm wasting money by buying dryer sheets. If you were also wondering the scent I got in my sampler box was 'Fresh' the blue bottle.
