My Impression: I have tried lots of different detergents through-out my lifetime, but it has been a long while since I have tried a more solid type of detergent which is what ROCKINGREEN is. It's more of a powder - type detergent. So I loaded up my washer with about two table-spoons of the Classic Formula in 'Smashing Watermelons' and put it in my washer as it filled up and added my clothing. Now first - these packets I got to try smell absolutely amazing! Good enough to eat - DON'T do that though - it was just an expression haha! It did clean my clothing really well and the scent did linger on my clothing. One thing I did not like is that the powder did not fully dissolve which left me with two problems. It looks like I had white specks all over my clothes and two my washing machine had a lot of the product caked to the side of it? I don't know what caused this, but when I pulled out my clothing I just shook them off before putting them into the dryer and whatever was left on the clothing did come off in the dryer so that was good. The next time I washed clothes I used the Hard Rock Formula in 'Rage Against the Raspberry' and I switched it up a bit I added my clothing in first then added cold water and added two table spoons to the washer. I still had the problem of my clothes looking like snowflakes and less of a problem with it sticking to the sides of my washer so that's a difference. Maybe I need to tweak how I use it a bit to get the right consistency for the loads, but I am glad that the little specks come off in the dryer which makes my dryer smell awesome so I guess it really isn't a negative. I think the grits that are used in the Formula are so hard to dissolve and break up because it helps get the grease and stains out of your clothing and it has to have that rough texture to pull out the stains/grease. Out of all of the detergents I've tried as far as powder-form goes I really enjoy ROCKIN'GREEN. The smell is the major difference from any I've tried because it is very fruity and sweet smelling. The packaging is the cutest and the names really fit and clique with the name of the company. With the 'Rage Against the Raspberry' pun from the band 'Rage Against the Machines' and 'Smashing Watermelons' as a pun for the band 'Smashing Pumpkins' not for sure if that was their intention, but if it was kudos to ROCKIN'GREEN! You earn major cool points from me!
