Babyliss Pro Curler Review
The Babyliss Pro Tourmaline Ceramic Curling Iron is rated #2 on our Best Curling Iron list for one reason alone and it is the price. If price wasn't a factor, this curling iron will for sure be the #1 choice. The Babyliss Tourmaline Ceramic Curling iron emits negative ions and far-infrared heat that brings a number of additional benefits to your hair:
1. Eliminates static electricity 3. Neutralize odors
2. Preserve more moisture within the hair shaft 4. Causes less damage to the hair cuticle
My Impression: I received the Babyliss Pro Curler in the 2in. barrel and my Mommy let me do her hair with the curler for demonstration. First of all this curler I had high hopes for, but it's fallen short and I don't know if it's due to it's size or what, but it's not a total dud. My Mom has pretty long hair and I thought barrel curls would be so beautiful on her and even though it didn't turn out quite like id hoped it's still pretty. I first tried to use a different product on her for curling and had no luck so I started to use the Babyliss and I tried first without hair spray and you would have to hold it a long time before it would even produce the curls pictured above and I just don't think that it's great for the hair. I have shorter hair and I think it does well at putting volume in your roots if you need volume, but that's about it. I also used hair spray and the curls above were produced by that - not that impressive huh? Not to me at least. I do think it curls short hair better like I mentioned and you can see in her bangs picture that the bangs have pretty good volume and curl. It seemed to me like it was too slick on the hair to grab the hair in general - I don't know what was up with this curling iron, but I would not repurchase it.
