I used the 'Heated Eyelash Curler' over top of my Mascara and it helped separate the lashes and perk them up at the roots. When I first seen what this eye lash curler looked like I thought psh, how is that supposed to work with it's odd structure and design. I tried it and I was amazed by how much longer it made my lashes look! If you don't like wearing mascara using this on eyelashes without mascara makes your eyes look much more open and awake! I couldn't believe how much more awake I looked. One of my eyes are slightly lazy and it helped minimize the look of them looking so tired. It doesn't snag my eyelashes or pull them. I've used many finger 'clamp' eyelash curlers and those almost always pulls at least a large amount of my eyelash hairs out and it hurts and it's awful because you want longer lases and for them to look great NOT BALD! So, this I would give a great A+ and a great staple for any kit. Just remember it takes 1-AAA battery and it takes about 30 seconds to a 1 minute to heat up. I just love this little odd device!
