"Georgia Charms Harry Potter's Dumbledore Bubble Bar & Golden Snitch"

I've been looking for the most unique bath bombs when I came across Georgia Charms on Etsy I was blown away by her products she creates.

Georgia Charms believes in the natural therapy of cosmetics. She got her start because she was addicted to Lush, but like many of us couldn't afford some of the expensive prices that come along with buying bath bombs from higher priced brands. Although I love Lush myself I was looking for a cheaper alternative as well! She started her research on how to make bath bombs, bubble bars, skincare, and other items. After trial and error she did it! She's constantly tweaking and improving ways to make her products better. In my opinion I don't know how she could make them any better.


I received many bath bombs, bubble bars, and skincare that I will be breaking down into different reviews. So expect more to come and another giveaway such as this one! 

Georgia Charms "Golden Snitch" Bath Bomb

First of all this bath bomb is gorgeous covered in gold mica. I couldn't wait to test out this bath bomb. It smelled so good. I dropped it into the water and boy did it fizz! As a matter of fact it fizzed for over 7 minutes at least I timed on my phone. The water turned into a beautiful golden color with shimmery gold coming from the mica spread all across the tub. I felt so much moisturization surrounding me and all over my skin was a beautiful shimmer. The mica is bath safe.. I wanted to point that out. Do you know what's awesome about Georgia Charms? She puts charms in certain themed bath bombs! Yes, I got the triangle from Harry Potter and I plan to keep all the charms to make me cute little bracelet. She also carries jewelry so that you can put your charms on a necklace or charm bracelet. The scent was airy, musky, and had a bit of a floral scent to it which it says it has gardenia oils in it so thats where maybe I smell the floral scent. All together blend beautifully. I felt so peaceful in the bath relaxing in the warm water. My skin is often very dry and to have these beautiful oils cover me and bring my skin back to life was great.

Scent: Patchouli and Gardenia

The materials in the "Golden Snitch" bath bomb to give you an idea on scent: Sodium Bicarbonate, Citric Acid, Cream of Tartar, SLSa, Grapeseed Oil, Essential Oils, Polysorbate 80, and Natural Micas.

Georgia Charms Harry Potter's Dumbledore Bubble Bar

I absolutely cannot get over the detail in the bath bombs and the bubble bars. This bubble bar of Dumbledore is so cute! I'm telling you if you want massive bubbles this bubble bar will give it to you. I broke this piece in half and ran it under the water and my tub was covered in bubbles. I can only imagine what it would be like to put the whole bubble bar under the water. I mean look how pretty the purple is on the Dumbledore. This color purple is one of my favorites. I can also say YES the tub did turn purple. A beautiful color! This bubble bar was just as moisturizing as the bath bombs. The scent notes are: Island Fresh Kiwi, Ripe - Strawberry, Sun Kissed Peach, Anjou Pear, and Spring Flowers. I could smell the scent of Kiwi, Strawberry, Pear, and a little bit of a floral scent. It was such a treat. I used the bubble bar in the mornings that I wanted to feel more awakened. Although, you could use it anytime. I personally like musky, gardenia, airy scents for night time and the more berry and floral scents during the mornings. When you use this bar make sure you crumble it up fine when using. This will insure that you get maximum bubbles. That goes with any of Georgia Charms bubble bars.

Let's talk about the products I received which are the Village Naturals Purify and Calm Double Butter Bath Melts. The first bath melt I tried was at nighttime so of course I used the Calm in the Aromatherapy collection which is infused with Lavender and Chamomile both to help you relax and unwind. I've always known Lavender and Chamomile to help you relax and helps you fall to sleep. So I poured my bath water holding the bath bomb under the water as directed letting it slowly melt into the bath water. I noticed that not only this bath bomb, but the Village Naturals Purify collection bath bomb also leave the bath water incredibly soft feeling. The oils verged together with the water and sinking into my skin. With the Calm bath melt.. that's exactly what I felt was calm and relaxed. I was so tense that night and I felt my muscles and tenseness lighten little by little until it was completely gone. I could smell both the Lavender and Chamomile so beautifully in the air.. in the steam of the hot bath. It was so comforting. The scents are just the right amount of fragrance's as well they both don't over-power your nose. You won't leave the shower with a huge headache like some scents/fragrances do. I know some are probably wondering .. did the purple bath melt turn my bath purple or did the orange bath melt turn my bath orange? No, it does not turn your bath water into those beautiful shades as they come, but it does make your water incredibly soft, smooth, and it will make you never want to leave your bath. I think that's a little better than the bells and whistles of other bath melts. The Purify Bath Melt I used during the day before one of my Dr's appointments. I had to get up super early and I decided.. "Well, I'll just use the Purify Bath Melt to wake me up." and I did. The scent rushed through the bathroom and it was that of a citrus scent. It was an awakening scent that helped gather myself awake yet still enjoy my 30 minute bath I had awoken so early for. I more or less thought this bath is going to make me sleepier, but it done quite the opposite. I was aching in the morning as I always do, but after the hot bath with the Purify Bath Melt I felt rested, my muscles felt loose, and I felt more awake. I put on my makeup and headed out the door to my appointment. I have to say I've always been a HUGE fan of the Village Naturals Company. I've purchased a lot of there muscle therapy products although those seem to be heavy on the eucalyptus I really don't mind because it does help when you've had a intense active day and your muscles and limbs all together feel like they're going to fall off. I had high hopes for these bath melts and they succeeded my expectations. I will be buying these again. I think out of the two the one I would recommend the most would be the Village Naturals Calm Aromatherapy "Calm - Lavender & Chamomile" bath melts. I really say check out Village Natural's line and see what all they have because they carry a lot! You can buy your Mom a couple of each of their products, put them in a basket, and call it a good Mother's Day! Not to mention their products aren't hard on the pocket like some other brands.

The 1st picture on the left is the picture of it under the water when I first put it under - the 2nd is of the bath melt getting smaller about 1 minute & 1/2 later. 

The color of the water was left a milky color and the bath was immersed with essential oils through-out the bath water and there was a layer of essential oils on the top as well.

I received Luxe by Mr. Bubble's Guilt-Free Butter Bath Melts to test out in the scents Original Mr. Bubble and Sweet & Clean. I've used Mr. Bubble since I was a kid and seeing that they had this new line out. The Luxe by Mr. Bubble line...I had to try it. In our busy lives bath time should be more of a time you can sit back and relax. We're often busy in our lives where we just hop in and out of the shower and we're out the door. Where is the relaxation in that? There is none. There is just rushing & tenseness through-out the day.We all need to take a little "me" time. I first tried out the Original Mr. Bubble scent of the bath melt and it brought back so many fond memories. Although, the scent is not as strong as the Original Mr. Bubble "Bubble" Bath it's still got a great scent that's lets you sit back and reminisce about the times that you were a child. The second scent I tried was the Mr. Bubble Sweet & Clean and it has more of a fresh scent to it. This scent is my favorite of the two although I love the original scent.. the Sweet & Clean just allowed me to completely unwind and relax in the tub. It says on the package that you can break off 4 pieces for each bath which equals up to 5 baths! Of course it also implies you can use more if you wish to add more moisturization. I just added the 4 cubes as stated and it left oil all through-out the tub as well as on the surface of the tub. It's not the type of oil that leaves a residue on your skin either afterward. It just leaves your skin nice and moisturized. I really loved this product so much I went out and bought my Mom a couple to use in the bath and she loves it. That is why I'm recommending the Luxe by Mr. Bubble line for Mother's Day! You don't just have to get the Luxe by Mr. Bubble Guilt-Free Butter Bath Melts.. they have a whole line of products you can choose from. You could get one of each and put them in a gift basket just for Mom. 

Check out the pictures I took while using Luxe by Mr Bubble Guilt Free Butter Bath Melts! Ps. I don't know why my bath tub is showing up as tan.. my bath tub is white .. it must be the camera, but here is the 4 pieces I broke off and watch how it slowly melts into the water. 

I found it easies while using these to break off the 4 pieces into one piece and let it run under the water so it completely melts as to breaking it off in pieces you'll likely get pieces that will float on top of the water that take a lot longer to melt. 

You can see a tad bit of bubbles forming although these bath melts are not like bubble bars which create a lot of bubbles..these produce a tiny amount while dissolving in your hand. I do wish there were a lot of bubbles, but I understand that this may not be possible with the formula they've created since it's so moisturizing.  

You can feel the moisturization flowing through-out the bath and as you can see in the photos you can see a light layer of oil on top of the bath tub which leaves the bath a milky color. I felt so much moisturization in the 4 pieces as directed, but I did try out adding more and it just made the bath a very white-ish color because of the oil distribution. Id say if your skin is very dry you could add the extra pieces if necessary. My skin on my chemotherapy pills can sometimes make my skin very dry which is why I tried out the extra pieces. I'll just say that it does leave your skin so glowy! I loved it!

I found out I have Leukemia in May of last year and I was surprised by everything I have to do to maintain my health and to stay healthy in general. While I'm on my chemo I have to be very careful and keep myself and objects around me clean. I've always been a huge fan of Purell. We've always bought the large pumps like pictured above and the clip on hand sanitizers. I didn't know they came out with the wipes you can carry around and wipes to clean off surfaces. I'm so happy they did so we can sanitize all of our phones, keyboards, and all surfaces in our home. That is exactly what we've been doing too. We've been cleaning all of our stuff off each time we use it so I don't catch anything because my immune system is very weak right now I have to keep things clean. I love the clip on hand sanitizers. I gave my little cousins some, but my Mom and I use most of them. In fact we've already used almost all of them. I'm re-filling mine up with the pumps right now so that I still have hand sanitizer with me at all times. I bet I use them a hundred times a day so we go through them fast. It's good to have Purell for your children and yourself in general. Places and things are filled with germs so we want to keep those away to prevent colds!

Scentbird is a monthly fragrance subscription service. Each month you will receive an 8 ml purse spray of any fragrance of your choice (enough perfume to apply daily for a whole month) along with a custom perfume atomizer which arrives in your first box to protect your perfume. Scentbird has over 300 fragrances to choose from and if you opt not make a selection they will send you their monthly featured scent.

Scentbird ships on the 15th of the month.  If you subscribe before the 5th of the month your package will ship on the 15th of that month. If you subscribe after the 5th your package will ship the following month. The price is only $14.95 a month.

You take a survey which looks like this below that will determine a match of fragrances you can choose from although I believe you can choose fragrance you would like for that month.

Here is what the perfume looks like open. It’s really easy to swap out your vials too.  You just twist the atomizer and pull the vial out from the top.  When you aren’t using it, you twist the vial the other way and you can throw it in your purse and not have to worry about it spraying or emptying in your bag like traditional perfumes.

What I love about Scentbird:

• The twist atomizer is easy to use and functions well. Not messy like when you put a regular perfume in your purse. I've had my perfumes leak many times while just throwing it in my purse.
• I love that I can get the same use out of it that I would a roller ball.
• It lasts a long time and I can choose which scent I want each month so that I don't get bored with one fragrance. 
• You have the option to sign up month by month or you can do the multiple month subscription options. They offer 3-months, 6-month and 12- month subscriptions along with a gift option as well.
• The price is only $14.95 a month which is a great price for the amount you receive. 

I received the scent "Viva La Juicy by Juicy Couture"

About The Viva La Juicy Fragrance:

The Viva la Juicy girl never turns down a glass of champagne or the chance to get into the tiniest bit of trouble. Viva la Juicy combines delicious wild berries with creamy vanilla and bright jasmine. 

Notes:

Wild Berries, Mandarins, Honeysuckle, Gardenia, Jasmine, Amber, Caramel, Vanilla, Sandalwood, Praline. 

Style:

Tantalizing. Teasing. Tempting.

The Verdict: I am subscribing to Scentbird because I'm the type of gal that gets tired of wearing regular fragrances. I like to change it up. Scentbird lets you choose a different fragrance each month which I'm stoked about. I chose Viva La Juicy because I ran out a couple of years ago and I hadn't smelled it since and I fell in love with it all over again. The good thing about Scentbird is that with the price of $14.95 you get about as much as you do with a rollerball. I despise rollerballs. I would much rather have a spray. I'm sure a lot would agree. Like I said before I like that it's mess free and that I don't open up my purse to a mess. I can switch out the perfumes for my atomizer anytime I wish with a new fragrance. The packaging is sleek and I love that it comes with a carrying bag as well - that's a nice touch! It comes packaged well. I don't have to worry about my package being broken at arrival. I'm really pleased with Scentbird. If you are a fragrance lover definitely check it out!

To a man with super curly hair that can leave your hair feeling coarse if you go that route. He likes this product because it has the conditioner built in he can get in and out of the shower without having to do much and that is the goal. His hair has been so much softer lately. His hair definitely needed the conditioning from the AXE.

I smelled the Dry Spray in the AIR before giving to him and it has more of a strong musky smell of coconut, but he likes it. He uses it everyday in conjunction with the antiperspirant.

He really likes that the coconut smell is not really a feminine scent, but more of a masculine musky scent. Some coconut scents can lean more towards a feminine fragrance. I think he has now crossed over to the AXE side and is now wanting to try more of their products.

The Mullein and Sparrow Cheek and Lip Tint is packaged so cute in it's little tin. I opened it up and dug in to try. I tried it on my cheeks, but it didn't give off much color. I much prefer it as a Lip Tint. It went on smooth and made my lips feel very moisturized. 

• The Seaweed Bath Co. Detox Cellulite Cream – 1 oz Value $2.50

I've always battled with Cellulite and this cream was something I really was excited to try. I've been using it and I noticed that when I put it on it made a tightening effect to my skin. I'm not sure yet if it helps rid you of cellulite because I don't think anything will do this, but it definitely made my skin look more firm and tighter. 

• Mahalo Mango Balm – .5 oz Value $21

I've heard this is a multi-purpose balm. It can be used for cleanser, a lip balm, a cuticle fixer-upper, and more! It's known for it's anti-inflammatory properties to help fight acne, eczema, help with scarring, sebum balancing, cell regenerating, and skin-toning. I've used it under my eyes as an eye cream, on my elbows, and on my cuticles. It works really well. It smells amazing too. It made my skin feel very soft and my elbows used to hurt really bad due to dryness and I've tried everything. This balm really works on cracked skin!

• CV Skinlabs Rescue and Relief Spray – 1 oz Value $5.60

I've been out in the sun and in the tanning bed I'm ashamed to admit because it's bad for you, but as a pale person I burn so easily. I've always just used Aloe gel, but it never really eased the pain. It just pulled out the burn and well in return made me sting! The CV Skinlabs Rescue and Relief Spray helped my burns on my back and shoulders. It was more soothing to my skin. It was cool when sprayed and the cooling sensation stayed on my skin long after spraying. It really helped with my sun & uv burns. 

• Piperwai Natural Deodorant– Travel Size (1 oz) Value $6

I've never heard of a deodorant in a jar before, but I thought it might be something to try anyway. I've always had issues with deodorant. I've always had to wear mens, but in a unisex scent. The Piperwai Natural Deodorant has a fresh scent, but I thought how can this work? All other deodorants have failed me besides the men's deodorant. So I tried it anyway and rubbed it on my underarms which is one draw back...who wants to rub it on their underarms? Ew. Anyway, I tried it and it for sure kept my underarms dry, but it made them a little too dry. I kind of chaffed by the end of the day which disappointed me.

What was in my box?

• Suntegrity 5 in 1 Natural Moisturizing Face Sunscreen Tinted in Light SPF 30 – Value $6.60

I like a SPF that is free of ingredients that's not in my best interest. This is a tinted sunscreen which evens out the skin tone, but doesn't give you much coverage at all. I wouldn't use it as a foundation replacement. I would thought use it as a primer before I put on my foundation which is exactly what I did. You can always use more SPF in your products to protect you from the sun. It leaves you with a dewy finish but, I feel as though it's really moisturizing the skin thus the dewy finish. It can always be made matte by a powder foundation or regular foundation.

• Modern Minerals Eye Shadow in Libra – 1 gram Value $6.25

I really like the Modern Minerals Shadow in Libra. I've never tried anything from the brand before. The color is a super shimmery brown bronze. It gives a nice shimmery glow to the eye lids. It packs on color well with out being streaky. The shadows were soft and not clumpy which I hate in a pot sample, but the original product comes in a pot as well, but now knowing I like the product I might as well pick up some more of the other eyeshadows.

• Preserve Razor and 2 Blades – Value $8.50

This razor handle is made with recycled yogurt cups, and is BPA free. I find that to be so interesting. I love companies the recycle and to turn it into a razor well that's just amazing. I took the clip off the top and began shaving. I felt as though the razor did a pretty good job during the first two uses, but after that it began to get a little dull. It still works it's just not as effective at getting a fully clean shave on the legs. I would repurchase these razors. I'm so giddy that they included an extra blade in this box. That's so kind because some companies just give you one of something. To have a back-up blade means the world in choosing a good service and Goode' is impressing me.

• Portland Bee Balm – Value $3

This lip balm is made with all natural and organic ingredients. This lip balm reminds me a whole lot of Burt's Bee's lip balm. It has that tingly feel. It goes on gliding and leaves your lips feeling moisturized. I do feel like it works, but I don't see the difference in this lip balm and another. I would gravitate toward this product as to Burt's Bees because it's cheaper, but to me it's just a lip balm. It does it's job. It moisturizes and keeps the lips soft.

What did I get in my box?

• Acure Root + Hair Deep Repair – FULL SIZE! Value $15

You know when you dye your hair and afterwards you use the conditioner that makes your hair feel so soft afterwards. That is how this conditioner makes your hair feel. It makes it feel brand new. I love that it has CoQ10 in it because it's very good for your body so it has to be good for your hair.

• Eslor Soothing Cleanser Refiner – .5 oz Value $7

This cleanser I believe will be my next holy grail cleanser. It gets rid of all of my make-up fast and it doesn't hurt my eyes too badly. I can clean all around my eyes without much discomfort. The cleanser is very light. I wish that the pump would pump out more product so you don't have to keep pushing down the nozzle to get the product out. Still, I'm in love with this cleanser. It works so well with my clarisonic. It doesn't foam up too much either.

  Juice Beauty Defining Eyeliner in Black – FULL SIZE! Value $16

Juice beauty oh how I love your products. I had always tried their skincare, but never their make-up line so when I seen this eyeliner I was thrilled. It's so pigmented and glides on like butter. That's what I like. It stayed in my waterline for a while too. Not an overly amount of time, but at least a good 5-6 hours which is a change for me. Most of them smear off within the hour of putting it on. I'm thinking I need to try more of the Juice Beauty Make-up Line. 

• The Seaweed Bath Co. Body Wash in Eucalyptus & Peppermint – 1 oz Value $1

There is nothing like Eucalyptus to wake you up in the morning. This is definitely a morning body wash because the smell is so invigorating that I believe it would keep you up before you go to bed. It lathers well and suds up. I like the mixture of Eucalyptus and Peppermint together. It made my skin smell good though. I have to say the scent lasted a while. I couldn't tell a difference in whether or not it made my skin softer, but the smell is so good.

• Poppy & Elle Hair Ties – Value $5

Who doesn't need a hair tie? Almost every week I'm hunting for a hair tie, my Mom's hunting for a hair tie, and everyone is looking for a hair tie! Now I have three and I'm holding on to these for dear life in hopes that I don't lose them. They are so pretty with their chevron and lacy prints. They are not as hard as old fashioned hair ties, but they do have a hardness to them compared to a twistband. They feel like they were made of sturdier material. Anyway, they get the job done!
