September Starbox from Starlooks

September Starbox from Starlooks

Many of you may have seen my other posts about Starbox and if you haven't feel free to check out the other post, but it's monthly subscription service for $15. What's different about Starlooks? All full size items worth more than your box itself with shadows and cosmetics comparable to MAC. You heard me.. MAC.

What came in my box?

In September's box there was a Signature Eye Shadow Palette which normally retails for $30.00 alone.  This palette features 5 full sized shadows in opalescent shades, which work well alone or combined with other shades.

This September's box also contained eye jewelry in Opal and Champagne colored Swarovski crystals.

In addition, each box contains a mystic quartz crystal, which attracts energy and help maintain focus.  Starlooks recommends collecting them in glass jar to create a brush holder.

I'm sorry if the pictures are not that clear - I tried to get the best that I can, but they are such unique colors my camera just does not do them justice at all!

All Colors Are Duo-Crome'esc Finishes

The first color is a pearl subtle white opal color perfect for the brow bone. The second color has more opaque white with pearl with a very slight sheen of blue, The third color is a soft pink pearl, The fourth color is a purplish-blue duo-crome finish, The last color is a subtle lime green, but with a sheen and slight sparkle - not full on glitter ball, but the slightest sparkle - very beautiful.

All of the colors are very beautiful and are intended to go over top of other shadows, but can be worn alone as well.

I used the first color on my brow-bone as a highlight and I dusted the third color the pearly pink in the center on top of 'Bronzilla' from Mally Beauty.

I used the primer and really loved the way it applied - my eyeshadow stayed on for a good amount of time and lasted me through-out the evening. The feel of the primer is more silicone based - not sure if it is, but that is the texture and feel. It's clear and goes on easily - takes very little amount of product to cover your lid.

This box has really surprised me and I've used everything from my past two Starboxes all month and the eyeliner, eyeliner brush, and palette has become my new favorites in products I'm currently using. The products in the box have more than covered the price of the box each time and no foil packets! Score.

If you want the September box it's still available to order!

or

If you want to subscribe head over to their website HERE.

I've heard that Starbox has some pretty awesome boxes planned so if you want to make sure you get a box before they are sold out you better hurry up and subscribe because once they are sold out it takes quite a while for them to come back in stock! Also be aware that if you are not subscribed and you choose to purchase the box - then the box's price is I believe $25.00.
