The Taste: Tuesday at 8/7c on ABC

I was recently told about The Taste by Influenster. It's a new show out 'a cooking show' of course, but more of a contest type of cooking show which I like. I'm used to watching Cupcake Wars and other hard hitting cut-throat cooking shows so learning about this show was right up my alley and cut-throat it is with it's tad bits of drama. Four Chefs have their own teams in which have to compete in tasks they are given with certain ingredients and the judges have to choose the best dish - those who don't succeed in making that best dish could go home. They have tension filled eliminations. 

I get mainly into cooking shows to expand my cooking capabilities. I've always loved cooking - taking something out of the kitchen when we had hardly any food and making something out of nothing! That's a cook. 

Even though this show does not showcase that type of love I have for cooking - I still love the devotion and determination behind the concept of fighting 'cooking' to the death!
