The Olay Fresh Effects BB cream claims to be a skin perfecting tinted moisturizer with SPF 15. It claims to have 6 Skin Perfecting Benefits: Refreshes, brightens, evens tone, hydrates, smooths, protects. All-in-one solution for instantly brighter-looking, smoother-feeling, more even skin tone.
My Before and After
The Verdict: I got the chance through Influenster to try the new Olay Fresh Effects BB Cream and I was super excited. I've been using it now for a little over 2 weeks and I can say I don't like it as a BB cream, but I do love it as a moisturizer. I think they made a mistake in calling it a BB cream vs. a tinted moisturizer because it really doesn't have that much of a color pigment at all even though in the swatch above it looks as though it would. I got mine in fair/light since I am ghostly pale, but as you can see in my before and after there really isn't a difference at all appearance wise. However, as a moisturizer it's BOMB. I have combination/oily skin and I found that after cleansing my face and using this it would just skin right into my face - of course I had enough time to apply it to my face, but it seemed to sink into the skin which I like. I didn't feel I got overly oily through-out the day. It does have a highly floral scent so if you are one of those who are sensitive to scents - keep that in mind, but it doesn't bother me as I didn't smell the scent through-out the day. I'm a big fan of Olay. I have used it for years. I would like to try more of the line - I had tried a sample of the shine, shine go away cleanser and I am quite fond of it as well. So final thoughts - would I repurchase? Yes, if I could find a sale as it is a steep price for a tinted moisturizer. So, maybe I'll find a coupon in the near future, but until then I'm still using this everyday.

ReplyDeleteHi Sue, yeah if I had to recommend one I would recommend the Olay complete moisturizer. It's the best! Unfortunately, I won't be doing a giveaway for the Olay Fresh Effects - I received it in an Influenster box they don't sponsor giveaways.
