I received the Ahnu Waterproof "Coburn" Style Hiking boots for my husband and he absolutely LOVES them. From the moment we opened them to the time he put them on it was a perfect match for him. He works really hard and is on his feet all day long and he really needed a pair of boots that would handle all of that wear and tear. We also from time to time like to go hiking over at the local caves "Carter Caves" and we love to go this time of year so these were definitely needed. When he first put them on he couldn't believe how lighter they were compared to his old boots that were to be honest falling apart and could talk because the flaps were so badly falling off. These boots are lighter, but well constructed. He said the boots fit true to size and that the soles were very soft to walk in. He likes that it has a lot of give to them so that when he walks it feels as though he's got a comfort insole inside although he doesn't. I even tried them on to walk around in to see what he was talking about and I really loved how comfortable they were. As you can see in the pictures with the dirty pants he'd been working in his shoes all day, but they hardly got dirty and were easily wiped away when they got dirt on them. We just wiped the off for the pictures and I didn't feel as though they would stain easily or that the dirt would stay on the outsides for very long. After the dirt dried we just used a dry cloth to wipe it away and it came right off. My husband likes the high heel because it supports his ankles. His heel surprisingly didn't blister from working a lot of days either. With his old boots he would take off his shoes and he would be blistered by the end of the day. These boots have definitely become a staple for my husband and they've really helped his feet be HAPPY FEET! I would recommend these if you are looking for a great pair of hiking boots or work boots. Ahnu shoes also carry women's style shoes as well. I will be posting a review for some women's shoes soon.

What came in my box?

I received the Basic as well as apart of the Advanced the Handmade Pine Pitch Fire Starters, NITE-IZE Carabiner Keychain, Compact Emergency Drinking Water (x4), Desert Shemagh, GI Field Blade Sharpening Stone, 12 Pack Esbit Fuel Cubes, Battlbox Decal, Snake Bite Kit, and Aquamira Frontier Emergency Water Filter. I really think these boxes are a must have to any home. They come with a ton of must-have items! A lot of the items are great to take on a hike with you, an outdoors trip, or to just have in the home as a just in case thing. I've already used a ton of the items from the kit. We've used the Pine Pitch Fire Starters to light fires for our bon-fire. We've used the GI Field Blade Sharpening Stone to sharpen all of our knives in the home. I even put my Battlbox Decal on my car. I've gotten tons of questions of where I've gotten it believe it or not. This box is based all around survival which my husband and I are very interested in. Having those "Just In Case" items around the home are great to have in case of emergencies. You just never know with this day and age. My husband works as a mechanic and in a auto-parts junk yard so he is always around a ton of snakes so having a snake bite kit is great. I feel safer knowing it's around although if you do get bit by a snake it's better to go to a hospital if poisonous that's obvious, but having the kit none the less makes me feel a lot better. The Desert Shemagh I've used to wrap over my head while out in the garden and it's kept the sun from burning me alive. As a pale person you definitely want to shy away from the sun, but it serves a many of purposes. I'm really pleased with Battlbox and I can't wait to see what other boxes await. I say check it out if you are into survival gear/bug out boxes.

My Impression: My Dad is an avid hunter and he wanted a hat that was multi-functional so when I came across Panther Vision I was excited to see all of the variety in caps from Basic, Lighted Caps for Hunting, Fishing, Outdoor and more! They don't just carry caps, but clip on reading lights for readers like me. So, when my Dad first opened the box and tried on his new hat he was thrilled and surprised by how bright the lights were. It has three settings of brightness and there are 4 LCD lights that shine brightly. They shine for a long distance as well so that when he's out at night or he's working on his truck he can see underneath his truck to get his tools and such. He said he likes the velcro snap back part of the hat as most of his hats are hard to fit his head and he said that he was able to with the velcro customize his fit. Every time I see him out he's wearing that hat. He loves it. I think if you are looking into getting your loved one a hunting hat, fishing hat, a readers light - then Panther Vision is a great company to look into with fantastic customer service and a variety of deal stealing prices - you can't go wrong.
