To prepare your skin for tanning we recommend that you use Fake Bake Passion Fruit Body Polish to exfoliate the skin, particularly the problem areas such as the knees and elbows; it may also be of benefit to apply Fake Bake Oil Free Moisturizer to soften the skin on problem areas. After first application Fake Bake Beyond Bronze Self-Tanning Mousse should last up to 5 -7 days.

My Impression: I've never used the old formula to tell you how much it's new and improved, but from what I can tell you from using it for a week - id say it's good if you are looking for just a sun-kissed glow. It really is for I think fair skin tones such as myself. It didn't turn me orange at all which was surprising because I am so pale mostly all self-tanners turn me orange. It's more of a bronze like they claim. It is difficult to apply - I like that you can see the color as you apply it, but it's a tad bit hard to rub in. I've had problems with streeking no matter how much is applied and exfoliating. After about the 2-3rd day of use you are able to cover the streeks with your next coats as you are allowed to apply it everyday if you wish. I've used it ever other day. I've noticed when rubbing it in I had these little residue that would stay on my skin, but if I used a towel it would come off. All in all I like this product far better than other self-tanners I've tried because it didn't leave me orange. I like the subtle look, but if you are looking for more of a bronze Fakebake offers a list of varieties of products.
