The Butterfly Bakery Review + Giveaway!

Butterfly Bakery Review + Giveaway!

About The Butterfly Bakery

In 1998 founder and CEO Brenda Isaac had a dream to create sugar free baked goods that her diabetic mother could enjoy and so Butterfly Bakery was born. Sugar free eaters, calorie counters, gluten intolerants and skeptics agree, once you taste the rich creamy distinctive taste of Butterfly Bakery you will never turn back. Our Sugar Free and No Sugar Added baked goods are sweetened with milk based lactitol, for rich and creamy taste with no digestive side effects. For Gluten Free we use whole grain Teff flour: Naturally sweet, light and moist, full of potassium and fiber. What makes our cakes, muffins, cupcakes and cookies so good? It's love, baked right in.

I got the Butterfly Baker Double Chocolate Chip Muffins & Angel Food Cake!

My Impression: First I commend Brenda Isacc for putting such effort into such a wonderful and kind business and into Butterfly Bakery. Of course like a lot of you I would assume with the sight of the name 'Sugar Free' would have you running to the hills because lets face it no one wants supposed sweets to taste like cardboard with no sweet taste anywhere to be found, but with these my skepticism vanished within the first bite of the Double Chocolate Chip Muffin. The 'Sugar Free' is but a stamp that has no stereotypical meaning in this brand. It's good food. The fact that's it's easy on the digestive track is an added bonus. I have IBS and certain foods terrorize my stomach. The Double Chip Chocolate Chip Muffins were very moist and even the chocolate chips were soft - SUCH A DELIGHT! Around Christmas my Mother had a big dinner and her favorite desert is Angel Food Cake so I thought of her while running out the door and brought it with me for her to try and half the cake later TRY SHE DID! She loved it. So much so that she said she had to drink something a long with it because anyone who has overindulged on Angel Food Cake knows it can be drying after a while, but none the less her tummy was happy!
