My Impression: I have been a big Jillian Michaels fan for a long time. I used to weight 300lbs. and while doing my work-outs I would walk and then incorporate her work-outs along with others into my routine so that I would not get bored. I have her Boost Metabolism DVD and love it - she does kick-boxing and that is one of my favorite work-outs! I got the chance to try out Jillian's new DVD 'Hard Body' and I'm impressed and wore-out! Her work-outs are intense, but not so intense that you can't do them. She gives you alternative moves if you cannot do the harder work-outs then you have a choice which is something I like as a heavier person. I've been taking it easy with doing the work-outs - I'm doing the work-outs a little more and more each day. Don't automatically give up on yourself if you can't do the whole work-out DVD in one day. Take it easy! The only quaft that annoys me is that the DVD is fast paced and the fact that I am overweight and need to drink about a gallon of water a day I get pretty thirsty during work-outs and I want to drink lots of water, but there isn't much of breaks in between work-out positions so that's the only thing I would change, but all I do now is just pause in between if I need to drink water. All in all I love it just as much as her other DVD's I own. I love that she has some good weight training in the DVD - I'm learning to use weights and to build more muscle. I know one thing Id say to Jillian is 'I hate BURPEES!' and if you've never done a work-out of hers then you probably don't know what I'm talking about, but if you do then you probably hate them too! It's a full-body work-out and when you've drank a ton of water it really gets your belly moving when you do them. In all seriousness I am hoping to lose even more weight this Summer and it's great to have an array of DVD's so you don't get bored - that's what I do.
